This is an original pencil drawing of Dunstanburgh Castle situated on the beautiful north Northumberland coast in the North East of England. I did this drawing on blue paper to help create a dark atmosphere and used mainly soft graphite pencils to get the dark silhouette of the castle with it’s very recognisable profile. For the breaking waves I used white pastel pencil to add movement to the water
I am David Mandle, an artist based in Cumbria in Northern England and I love specialising in pencil work.
The drawing is mounted and comes in a plain black frame which can be wall hung or freestanding and is signed by myself
Framed size 17.5cm x 22.5cm, image size 14.5cm x 9.5cm
